What I got in my Trunk?

 Hello World!

I recently signed up for Nordstrom Trunk Club, which is a clothing and styling subscription service through Nordstrom. I received my first trunk last week. I'll show what I got in my trunk, how I was recommended to the style the pieces, and what I decided to keep.

Outfit 1:

Modeling white hoodie, khaki pants, and white sneakersThe first outfit was this Topshop Crop Hoodie in Cream paired with Madewell Slim Emmett wide leg pants in Seed Khaki and Adidas Sleek leather sneakers in white.  Overall, I really liked this outfit and I also liked all the individual pieces. I will be keeping them all. The Topshop hoodie is super soft and comfy, and I think it looks super chic, and will fit in perfectly with other pieces in my wardrobe. I will need to exchange the Madewell pants for a smaller size, because they are a little to big in the waist, but I like the high waist and wide pant legs. I think once I get my proper size, they will be ever more flattering. The Adidas sneakers are classic and comfortable. Everyone should have pair of plain white sneakers in their wardrobe, and now I do.

Outfit 2:
Modeling cream sweater, jeans and tan booties
The next outfit consisted of a Topshop Cable Roll Sweater in Ivory, a pair of Frame Le High Waist Crop Skinny Jeans, and Steve Madden Taryn Block Heel Bootie in Camel Patent.  I liked this outfit as a whole, but I wasn't sure about the individual pieces. I loved the sweater immediately. It's super soft, and I've been looking to add some chunky knitwear to my wardrobe, and it's perfect. The boots were a maybe, but after trying them on with this outfit and walking around in them a bit, they grew on me, so I decided to keep them. The jeans are fine, but I decided not to keep them, because I'm not buying anymore skinny jeans at the moment. I have enough, so I'll be sending the jeans back.  This outfit also came with other pieces to accessorize with.
Modeling leopard clutch
First was the BP. Ring Handle Class Clutch, which I wasn't sure about at first, but I like the size of it and it's easy to carry, and I don't have a purse like it already, so I decided to keep it.
Modeling teddy bomber
Then there was the Treasure and Bond Teddy Jacket, which is super warm and cozy. This was also a maybe at first, but I also decided to keep it, because I'm always cold and it'll keep me warm, while still looking super cute.
Modeling knit beanie

Lastly, I got this North Face Nanny Knit Beanie, which is definitely going back.  I cannot fit it no matter how hard I try. The combination of my head and my hair is just too big, and this beanie has no stretch.

Outfit 3:
Modeling grey sweatshirt, jean, and white sneakers
The last outfit was combination of previous pieces and a Topshop Hooded Sweater in Grey Marl.  I liked how this outfit was styled, but I already have a plain grey sweatshirt in my wardrobe, so I don't really need another, so I decided to send it back.  I also got a pack of face masks as well. They're just plain grey and black, but I will be keeping them. 😀

Overall, I was satisfied with my first trunk and I'm excited for my next. My stylist said the goal of this trunk was get me some winter essentials, and I feel like that was accomplished!
Until next time!

Au Revoir,
