Hello World!
Here's the the top ten television shows, either new or returning, that I'm looking forward to in 2021.
1. Prodigal Son
2. Why Women Kill
This show doesn't have a season premiere date, but it's rumored to be returning in the summer, which gives you plenty of time to watch Season 1.
3. A Discovery of Witches
This was an unexpected pandemic binge watch. I remember hearing about this show when it first premiered in 2019, but I didn't watch it. Had I known it was about witches and vampires, I would have because I love vampire shows. But I'm also glad I didn't watch it because then I would've had to wait 2 years for season 2, and season 1 ended on a cliffhanger. (I didn't have the patience to wait, so I read the first 2 books in the series to know what happened - would recommend if you're fan of fantasy novels, it's like a combination Outlander and Twilight).
4. Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist
This was another pandemic watch and an unexpected gem. This is easily the best musical show I've ever seen, and I'm super excited for what season 2 has in store.
5. Pose
If you haven't seen Pose, then you need to right now. This show is everything. Season 3 doesn't have a premiere date yet ( thank you corona), but I'll wait.
6. Gossip Girl
XOXO Gossip Girl is back. I wouldn't say I was a fan of the original Gossip Girl, but I definitely watched every episode, so yeah I will be watching the reboot.
7. Atlanta
So Atlanta is supposedly coming back sometime in 2021, but I don't know when. But there's probably plenty of time to watch season 1 and 2 in the meantime.
8. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier
Why? Anthony Mackie. But this show also looks like a lot of fun!
9. Supergirl
This is my favorite show in the Arrowverse, and I'm kinda sad this is the last season, but excited to see how it ends.
10. Walker
With Supernatural over, it will be cool see Jared Padalecki in a new role.
Ugh I miss Pose 😫! But will definitely check some of these shows out.
